DAY 1: CUSCO - LAGUNA CORICOCHA - CHINCHERO

Before start our hike, we will drive until Sacsayhuman archaeological park, close to Tambomachay where we will start our hike uphill for the Antisuyo path, until the first pass (4,100 meters) where we will have spectaculars views of the Cusco Valley and the Sacred Valley. After that, we are continuing for a 40 minutes more until our lunch point close to the Qori Cocha Lake (gold lake). Then is plus 30 minutes uphill hike until the second pass  ( 4,300 meters aprox), from this pass we can see farmlands, some snow caped mountains like the Salkantay, Ausangate, Chincon, Veroninca and mountains covered with grass called Ichu. After that, we are descending for 2 hours approximately until the Umasbamba village to visit theirs ancestral chard plus the Lake, and then from here we are continuing by local transportation until Chinchero a weaver’s village to overnight in a local house plus a traditional dinner.

Day 2: CHINCHERO – URQULLOS - OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES:

After our breakfast in a local house and the weaving process demonstrations of the textiles that are used as clothes by the local villager. After that, we begin hiking by the Inca Trail Urquillos, There are beautiful landscape of mountains and farmlands, cloud forest, waterfalls. In the middle of the trek we stop for rest and box lunch before to continue to the Urquillos village, from here we will continue by local car to Ollantaytambo town, then by train to Aguas Calientes. We will get set up in our hotel, be able to rest and we will have dinner in a local restauraunt. Hot showers are available.

Day 3: MACHUPICCHU + RETURN TO CUSCO

After an early breakfast we will take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu (they are first come, first serve-more like a shuttle) in order to enjoy the sunrise (weather permitting). You will then begin your 2-hour guided tour and once finished you will have free time to explore on your own and soak in the magical energies of this mystical place. If you have pre-arranged permits to climb Huayna Picchu (must be arranged ahead of time and is $20 per person), this would be your next adventure. Once you are finished with exploring the Machu Picchu complex you will take the bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes on your own. Time to grab a quick bite of lunch and then walk over to the train station to take the afternoon Expedition train to Ollantaytambo. Our representatives will meet you just outside the train station in Ollantaytambo to take you back by private transportation to your hotel in Cusco.


  • ENTRANCE TIKETS: In our treks, the entrance to MachuPicchu archaeological site is included.
  • BRIEFING: Two or one night before your expeditions, we are going to your hotel or you will come to our office for your briefing, it is an information session for the tril to be ready to 100% for the trek day.
  • PROFESSIONAL GUIDES: All our guides studied English and Tourism at the University, institutes, and have many months giving support to the trekkers before to start to work in this kind of adventures like a guide.
  • HOTEL:The activity include 1 night in a local house and 1 night hotel in Aguas Calientes village. We include a two star hotel with shared rooms (Double, Marital and Triple rooms). If you would like to upgrade your hotel level or prefer a single room, there will be an additional cost.
  • FOOD & CHEFS: Are included 2 lunch,2 break fast, and 2 dinner.
  • TRANSPORTATION: All the transportations during the trek are included, we will pick you up from your hotel at around 6 AM and carried to the trailhead (day 1), the transportation from Ollantaytambo to Cusco the last day, One Way bus from Aguas Caleintes to Machupicchu.
  • TRAIN EXPEDITION: Are includes the roundtrip train, for the day one from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and the day twowe will board the 18:25PM train from Aguas Calientes village to Ollantaytambo. From where we transfer you to Cusco city in our car.
  • FIRST AID: Your safety is our number 1 concern. All our guides are trained to provide support in these causes. They all will have first aid kits and full oxygen bottle in case anything happens. We will get you off the trail as quickly and comfortably as possible, if needed and will make sure you get directly to a clinic for treatment. This is not something to worry about - but if something happens, we will be there for you.Note: before to do the trek or any type of adventure tour, we recommend you to visit your doctor and explain about the activity that will do, and please try to bring a small first aid bag each according to your conditions to stay peaceful.
  • HUAYNAPICCHU: Huaynapicchu is the mountain located inside the Machu Picchu Park and has beautiful views from the top. It takes 45 minutes to get to the top and then 45 minutes back down and is quite steep for those scared of heights. This is done after your tour of Machu Picchu and is $20 per person to hike. This is extremely popular and needs to be arranged at least a month or two prior to your trek. Please understand that we can not control weather and cloudy days will prevent perfect pictures.

TREK CHECKLIST

• Original ID documents (Passport)
• A good backpack or day backpack to carry your personal things
• Waterproof trekking boots.
• Warm clothes ( you can experience the four seasons in one day).
• 4 T-shirts, sun hat, two pairs of pants for the trek, gloves, 4 pairs of socks, raincoat, 1 warm jacket, extra layers.
• Camera with extra battery.
• Sunblock, sunglasses, insect repellent.
• Essential toiletries, toothbrush, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Swimsuit for swim in thermal baths.
• Water bottle (no need to bring water pills).
• Personal first aid kit.
• Head lamp.
• Some plastic bags in the rainy season.

For those using an ISIC card to receive the discount, we do need to see a copy of the card at booking.
